The current challenges of the 21st century require structural, fundamental changes in cities so that the necessary transformations can succeed not only globally, but also locally. These urban sustainability transformations constitute the framework of the USLL.
The USLL contributes to analyzing and understanding the socio-ecological-technical impacts of change processes and, on the other hand, to shaping the transformations in a sustainable way.
