Transdisciplinarity

In the context of the USLL, transdisciplinarity refers to a collaborative approach where researchers from different disciplines work together with diverse actors of urban society to understand complex urban challenges and develop innovative solutions.

All stakeholders participate significantly in the research. Exchange on an equal footing, mutual learning as well as co-creatively experimenting with possible solutions are essential. This is practiced within the USLL.

Co-creation or cooperation are essential elements of transdisciplinarity.
