Science for Policy Hackathon

The Science for Policy Hackathon, organized by the University of Vienna’s Environmental Change Hub (ECH) in cooperation with the Urban Sustainability Living Lab, is a collaborative process aimed at fostering innovative solutions at the intersection of science and policymaking.

The hackathon brings together researchers, policymakers, and stakeholders to address pressing challenges in environmental governance and sustainability in the city of Vienna. Participants will work in interdisciplinary teams to develop actionable ideas and tools that enhance the integration of scientific insights into policymaking processes.

Kerstin Krellenberg holds the keynote speech at the kick-off event on November, 19 at the Aula of the University Campus. The hackathon also includes workshops, expert panels, and intensive teamwork sessions, culminating in presentations of the developed solutions.
