Hannah Szirota, BSc
Biography
Hannah Szirota has been part of the Urban Studies working group since the beginning of 2024. As a tutor, she mainly completed organizational tasks for the “Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Urban Studies (4CITIES)” program. As a student research assistant, she is currently supporting the “ReCity” project, which, in cooperation with Yerevan State University and the OeAD, explores inter- and transdisciplinary approaches to the revitalization of former small industrial cities in Armenia. As a graduate of the Environmental and Bioresource Management program at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, she is particularly interested in space-specific transformation potentials towards sustainability. Studying Regional Research and Regional Planning also strengthened her awareness of the relevance of interdisciplinary knowledge exchange.
